The server is whitelisted

Server is up again!

I thought someone would have made this post by now, but I was wrong. Allow me to inform those of you who haven't been online the last few days about what is going on. I may not have the whole picture, but I'm hoping some of the admins may correct me where I'm wrong.

Some of you may have some questions about what is going on with the game right now. Why can't I get on? Why is there a whitelist? Why ain't I on that list? How do I get on it?

Well, it's simple: You can't play right now. The server have suffered a lot lately, and though I don't know the whole story, it's my understanding that it was hacked. And that spawn was griefed. Both happening multiple times.
That's why they made a whitelist.

But I'm no hacker, I hear you say. I just want to play! Can't you let me on the list?
Well, it's not that simple. The server will be unavailable for a few days, while the crew is testing out new security measures. You know. Anti griefing stuff.

Does that mean I'll lose everything I build? Again?
Nope! Well, it depends. Kinda. They aren't starting over on a new map this time, but then again, there has been three different maps the last week. So it depends on when you played ;-)

Aw, man. This sucks! They are ruining everything!
Actually, it is quite the contrary. They are doing this so that you, and every one else playing on this server, will have a better and more stable experience in the future. They are doing this for you!

Oh well, Maybe I'll check back in a few days.
Do that. I hope to see you on the server as soon as possible. Just don't let your impatience get in the way of having a good time once the server is back ;-)

Thank you very much for making this, we really appreciate it a lot. And no you will not lose stuff we are on the same map as two days ago. That may mean a reset from when we were hacked for some but for most it means no reset.

No problem. Its just that I've been here before looking for answers but didn't find any. So now that I knew something, I just thought I'd share it.
